Rec — taking briefs for Q4

A video production company that casts every project.
Explainer films, product demos, brand work and social ads, produced by one studio and made by a bench of vetted directors, editors and animators picked for your brief. One point of contact. No agency overhead between projects.

01The studio
One studio. A cast bench. No payroll in the price.
Traditional agencies carry a fixed team and charge you to keep it busy. Freelance marketplaces hand you a search box and a gamble. We sit in between, deliberately.
AllCapStudio runs a vetted bench of directors, editors, animators and creators. For every project we cast from it: the person whose reel actually matches your brief, not whoever is between jobs this month. A 3D hardware build and a 2D character piece do not want the same animator, and pretending otherwise is how work ends up looking like everyone else’s.
What stays constant is the wrapper: one producer, one schedule, one quality bar, one invoice. You never manage the bench. You see who is on your project and the work they have done, and then you approve six things in five weeks.

02What we make
Six service lines, one shot list.
Most clients start with one and come back for a second. Prices below are real starting points, not a range designed to end in a call.
- S-01
Explainer Videos
Most products lose people in the first thirty seconds of the pitch.
$3,400 - S-02
Product Demo Videos
A demo that walks the menu bar loses.
$2,800 - S-03
Brand Films
Brand films go wrong when nobody decided what the company actually believes.
$9,000 - S-04
Video Ads & UGC
Paid social does not reward the best single ad.
$2,200 / month - S-05
Animation & Motion
Animation is where a video stops looking like everyone else's.
$4,200 - S-06
AI Marketing Agent
A film ships and the calendar goes quiet for six weeks.
$900 / month
03Selected work
Recent projects, and what changed.
04How it runs
Six stages. Nothing starts before the last one closes.
Six stages
Every stage ends in a written approval. No stage starts before the one before it closes.
- 01Day 1
Brief
A 45-minute call and a written brief back to you the same week. We ask what the video is competing against for attention, who has to approve it, and what happens if it works. If a video is the wrong fix, this is where we say so.
- 02Days 2–4
Cast
We assign the project from our partner bench: a director, an animator and an editor picked for this brief rather than whoever is free. You see who is on it and the work they have done before, not just a studio reel.
- 03Week 1–2
Script
Two drafts. Written against your sales calls and your positioning, not your feature list. Nothing goes to storyboard until the script is approved, because every problem is cheaper to fix here than anywhere downstream.
- 04Week 2–3
Board
Style frames and a timed storyboard. You approve the look and the beat structure before a single frame is animated or a crew is booked. This is the last cheap stage, and we use it properly.
- 05Week 3–5
Build
Production or animation, sound design, grade and mix. You see a rough cut at the halfway mark rather than a finished film at the end, so notes land while they are still inexpensive to act on.
- 06Week 5
Deliver
Master file, cutdowns, vertical crops, captions and source project files. Ownership transfers on delivery. The work, the assets and the licences are yours.
05On AI
AI-accelerated. Human-directed. Labelled either way.
We use generative tools every day, for first-pass scripts, storyboard frames, rough assembly, clean-up and translation. They are genuinely faster at those jobs, and pretending otherwise would cost you money.
They are still poor at the parts that decide whether a film works: knowing what to argue, directing a performance, and telling a client the video they asked for will not fix the problem they have. That stays with people.
Where AI-generated footage appears in something we deliver, we say so in the handover. It is your brand carrying it.

06Free tools
Things we built for ourselves.
No sign-up, no email gate, no watermark. We use these on live projects, which is the only reason they are any good.
07Journal
Written for people about to spend money.
Real numbers, real trade-offs, and the answers we would give you on a call, including the ones that lose us the project.
08Questions
Asked before every project.
Not covered here? Ask directly. You will get a written answer, not a calendar link.
A studio that casts each project from a bench of vetted partner creatives rather than staffing a fixed in-house team. You work with one producer and one timeline; the director, animator or editor is chosen for your specific brief. It gives you agency-level range at studio pricing, without paying for a payroll between projects.
